ISLAMIC SOCIETY OF CENTRAL LOUISIANA "THE ACTIVITIES"

DAILY ACTIVITIES	1.       Five times daily prayers in the Masjed at following times; For May:            Fajr       Zuhr       Asr           Maghrip            Isha                                                                            5:45       1:30       5:30            8:00                9:30 2.       Daily tajwed practice with tafseer after Fajr. 3.       Daily tafseer of one verse after Isha prayer.
WEEKLY ACTIVITIES	1.       Friday Sermon: Starting at 1:15 pm every Friday. 2.       Sunday School: For children from kindergarten till 8th graders. Classes are given in the masjed from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm every Sunday. 3.       Tajwed Lessons: Teaching how to recite The Quran properly. The class is from 7:45 after Maghrip till 8:30 every Wednesday. 4.       Practicing tajwed rules. Recitation and correction for one page. Reading by each person (every Friday after Maghrip). 5.       Soccer Day: Soccer game starts at 6:00 after Asr prayer till 7:00 every Sunday on the Soccer Field (make left turn on Bayou Rapides Road, before airport. Fields are on the left).
MONTHLY ACTIVITIES	1.       Potluck Dinner: Gathering for the community the first Sunday of each month after Maghrip. 2.       Monthly Lecture to Sisters: Important issues related to themselves and their families. Subject will be decided each month. It will be first Tuesday of the month at 1:30 to 2:30 in Arabic, to be repeated second Tuesday ofthe month same time in  English. Subject for May (5th and 12th ) is Mistakes in Raising Our Children. 3.       Breakfast: The third Sunday or Saturday of each month; having breakfast together right after Fajr.
